Among others, we will be looking into the following research topics: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Music and Emotion<\/li><li>Empirical Aesthetics of Music<\/li><li>Cross-cultural Music Cognition<\/li><li>Music Media and Technology<\/li><li>Musical Interfaces<\/li><li>Computational Listener Modelling<\/li><li>Audience and Concert Research (eg. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/experimental-concert-research.org\" target=\"_blank\">ECR<\/a>\/<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/digital-concert-experience.org\" target=\"_blank\">DCR<\/a> projects) <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We are about to establish the following research facilities: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Listening Laboratory<\/li><li>Digital Audio Workstations<\/li><li>Audience Response System for measuring physiological and psychological markers of experience <\/li><li>Computing facilities for (big) data analyses, statistical modelling, machine learning, etc.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In 2023 I started a new lab and research group at the Institute of Musicology at University of Cologne.
